Independence Day is just a few days away, so I thought I’d share a fun card I made for the occasion!
This card features the Postage Collage die set and the 4th of July Collage Stencils from Waffle Flower.
I started by die cutting my postage collage on thick, white cardstock.
Then I lined up the first stencil layer (there are three layers) with my postage collage, and I began shading it with red ink. I used Tutti Fruiti by Catherine Pooler.
Next I used the second stencil and shaded my images in blue using Catherine Pooler’s Suede Shoes ink.
For the last stencil layer, I decided to add some shine and dimension. I used Stickles Glitter Gel and spread it over the stencil with a palette knife. The glitter stars in the gel were perfect for the fireworks in the image!

Once the stickles gel was dry, I glued my postage collage onto some red cardstock, then I glued those two pieces onto an A2 sized blue panel, then onto the card base.
This card really packs a punch with imagery and color, and it was so quick and easy to make!
Waffle Flower has all kinds of stamp and stencil add-ons for the postage collage die and I can’t wait to collect them all!
Sadly I won’t be seeing any 4th of July fireworks this year, but that’s because I’ll be going on an Alaskan Cruise with my husband, which honestly isn’t a bad trade off! But I still wanted to make something festive.

Thanks for reading!
